  • CIMB Plaza Launch Ceremony

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted a significant event in the history of CIMB Singapore – the launch of CIMB Plaza! Previously known as Change Alley Mall, the iconic landmark in Singapore’s central business district has a rich history as a bazaar site and was home to a large number of money lenders way back in 1890. Gracing the special occasion were key CIMB executives: Group Chairman Datuk Mohd Nasir Ahmad and Group CEO Dato’ Abdul Rahman Ahmad, who had flown in from Malaysia. CIMB Singapore CEO, Mr. Victor Lee warmly welcomed the media and guests to the spectacular launch of CIMB Plaza. The lion dance troupe performance led the way to the CIMB Raffles Place Branch for its official opening – an auspicious way to commemorate a significant milestone. Guests witnessed another historic moment with the new CIMB Raffles Place branch, designed as a hybrid workplace to cater to work-from-home and work-in-office, leveraging on digitalisation capabilities. CIMB took advantage of moving into a Green Mark-certified building to develop an open concept workspace that is clean, safe and sustainable.   • Slack Celebration Lunch

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the celebration of the launch of Slack in the Southeast Asia region. Slack, an acronym for ‘Searchable Log of All Conversation & Knowledge’, is a new way to communicate with your team. It’s faster, better organised, and more secure than email. In his opening remarks, Cal Henderson, Co-founder and CTO Slack affirmed Slack’s plans to invest and grow in this region. A customer panel, comprising Cecily Ng, SVP and GM of Singapore, Salesforce and Bregadeesh Samapathy, Chief Information Officer, Sephora and hosted by Shweta Verma, RVP, Sales, shared how Slack made their working life simpler, more pleasant and more productive. The audience found exciting ideas, at the interactivity booths, on how to rethink and reshape how they work by embracing the concept of a digital HQ.   • Philips ‘Wonder of You’ Regional Press Event

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the Philips ‘Wonder of You’ hybrid press event in Singapore. The livestream session updated audiences in Singapore, Korea, Indonesia and Thailand on Philips’ latest personal healthcare innovations designed to support healthier lifestyles. Charmaine engaged panel speakers on Philips’ strategy in empowering consumers with smart solutions to offer personalized experiences in oral healthcare, beauty, male grooming and mother & childcare. During the product showcase tour, a clinical director explained how the intelligent sonic technology in Philips’ electric toothbrushes help consumers in their self-care. On beauty, a trichologist showed how SenseIQ technology personalizes temperature settings to suit different hair types. A dermatologist demonstrated the effectiveness of rotary technology in shavers. The interactive dialogue also touched on the Avent Twin Electric Breast Pump technology. The media was treated to an immersive VR experience on how the body is a wonder, supported and connected by a complex and brilliant system.   • National Day Celebrations

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine engaged and interacted with an exclusive audience on a special National Day webinar, Celebrate Local, a trivia night on all things Singaporean. The livestream was filled with laughter, singing and dancing as Charmaine bantered with the audience on Singaporean stories and memories. They shared the unique Singaporean pot of cultures, habits, food and of course, the biggest mash-up of all – our very own colloquial language – Singlish! Audience waved and laughed using good ol’ quirky collectibles eg. flags, five stones, chapteh, etc. from the fun-pack, and savoured the amazing selections of delectable kueh pre-delivered to members. They also met the working team behind the scenes, and some key people like Executive Officer for 25Hours Singapore, Kevin Ou. Participants were tested on their knowledge of iconic places, people, contributions and shows that define Singapore’s 57 years of history. Emcee Singapore Charmaine Yee stepped up the friendly competition in four intense rounds of the Trivia Game. It started with local flavour Makan Makan, and continued with a quintessential slice of Singapore Idol, Long Before Your Time and wrapped up with SG United.   • Reopening of Refreshed ParkRoyal Hotel

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the evening to celebrate the re-opening of the refreshed ParkRoyal Hotel on Beach Road brand by the Pan Pacific Hotels Group. The evening started with the sparkular LED water drum performance. Kung Teong Wah, General Manager, welcomed guests to explore the property and its vibrant surroundings. He reconnected with trade partners on the wellness floor of the refreshed ParkRoyal on Beach Road, promising an experience that is Simply Yours.     Emcee Singapore : Charmaine hosted Guardian’s 50th Anniversary, celebrating a remarkable evolution from one store in 1972 to 1,200 outlets in Singapore and South East Asia. The event was especially joyous since it was their first physical event since the pandemic. Guests were warmly welcomed with a celebratory LED water drumming performance. Soren Lauridsen, CEO of Guardian Health & Beauty, South East Asia, thanked their partners and suppliers for their support over the past 50 years. Emcee Singapore Charmaine Yee moved on to the next segment on recognition awards for Guardian’s exemplary suppliers and commendation for outstanding digital marketing collaboration.   • Launch of CapitaSky CBD Landmark

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine Yee hosted the opening ceremony of CapitaSky (formerly known as 79 Robinson Road), the latest Grade A office development in Tanjong Pagar central business district (CBD). The opening ceremony was officiated by Mr Desmond Lee, Minister for National Development and Minister-in-Charge of Social Services Integration. Jointly developed by CapitaLand, Mitsui & Co. and Tokyo Tatemono, 79 Robinson Road was completed in April 2020. The development is awarded the Building and Construction Authority’s Green Mark Platinum certification, in line with the developers’ commitment to environmental responsibility.   • Panel Discussion at Launch of Zoey

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine facilitated a conversation with Marie Soh, Eugenia Ye-Yeo, Yvette King and Yeow Yijun on their courage, strength and resilience in their conception journeys. These exceptional ladies shared their stories on a multitude of topics, ranging from making the right reproductive decisions, i.e. the recent legislation of egg freezing to fertility treatment options. They also shared their wisdom on pre-pregger preparations, such as taking supplements and prenatal vitamins, and postpartum ways to bounce back after pregnancy. The panel gave useful tips on how an average Singaporean woman can enhance her overall health and manage the added challenges of balancing work and family commitments. They openly shared their experiences on conceiving, covering topics on fertility, hair care, body shape, mental wellness and overall health.   • Mental Well-Being Partners’ Engagement

    Emcee Singapore : Charmaine Yee hosted the SG Mental Well-being Engagement event to build a caring and inclusive community. Mental well-being is a pertinent issue, intensified by the stresses brought on by COVID-19. We need to work together to build a strong and caring supportive community so that no one struggles with mental health alone. Appreciation was shown to project teams of The Youth Mental Well-Being Network, set up in February 2020. Tokens of appreciation were presented by Dr Janil Puthucheary, Senior Minister of State for Health & Communications and Information and Ms Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development and Home Affairs. The evening began with Michael Kiolbassa, AXOR global brand ambassador, who spoke on the inspiration of the AXOR Distinctive campaign. Emcee Singapore Charmaine Yee stepped up the tempo engaging the guests with a range of quiz questions on AXOR’s latest range of luxurious product assortments. They were entertained by a live jazz band performance while browsing through the avant-garde collections for luxury bathrooms and kitchens, created in collaboration with leading designers, with Philippe Starck, Antonio Citterio, Jean-Marie Massaud and Barber Osgerby among them. A team of experts enlightened the audience on the individualization of private living spaces in original bathroom concepts from renowned designers.   • Asia Tech Summit Social 2022

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the Asia Tech x Summit Social 2022, graced by Senior Minister Teo Chee Hean. It was also attended by Minister Josephine Teo and international dignitaries from around the world. It was the gala dinner for the opening day of Asia Tech x Singapore (ATxSG), an exclusive invite-only summit. Gathering governments, global enterprises and communities, it is Asia’s flagship tech event that drives conversations on topics such as opportunities within the Metaverse, AI, climate and technology and digital innovation among others. ATxSG is organised by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and Informa Tech and supported by the Singapore Tourism Board (STB).
