Singapore Home Chef Idol 2022

Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the grand finale of Singapore Home Chef Idol 2022 that saw friendly competition and camaraderie around six finalists with a diverse repertoire of cooking styles.

Singapore Home Chef Idol 2022 is a hybrid cooking competition showcasing Singapore’s fabulous food recipes put together by amateur home cooks.

The competition attracted over 80 submissions across six specialty categories: #MeatLovers, #FamilyandKidsMeals, #CreativeFlavours, #HuijiHealthyChristmas, #SomethingNewWithDelMonte and #FestiveDrinksDesserts.

In the grand finale, we had a blast introducing viewers to FairPrice recipe portal https://www.fairprice.com.sg/recipes, a one-stop destination for meal preparation and recipe inspiration, including the winners’ festive dishes!

Chef Ming and Leon Lim, MasterChef Season 2 runner-up, shared their culinary knowledge, techniques and cooking tips with the winners on their creations:Sushi’s candy cane, Christmas coconut macaron, Stuffed pumpkin spiced rice, Huiji honey baklava, Meat galore with Kelly’s, and Nutritional green curry sardines.

​We had an exciting and entertaining live stream session as viewers from all four platforms – Zoom, YouTube, FairPrice facebook, YoRipe app – clicked through the portal app and won up to $1,200 worth of FairPrice e-vouchers.
