    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the Bon Appetit-Lah to bring ‘Good Taste with a Twist’ to life as a perfect match for French gastronomy in Singapore, paired with 1664 Blanc and Rose. Emcee Singapore Charmaine engaged Chef Ming as he introduced three local dishes infused with French elements, at The Refectory SG. She also connected with the audience inviting them to have a hands-on experience in preparing each of the specially curated dishes ie. Curry and Comte Gougeres, Croque Monsieur Roti John and Buckwheat Crepes & Calamansi Curd. During the immersive dining experience, emcee Singapore Charmaine quizzed the guests on their knowledge of 1664 and many guests with the correct answers were delighted with the branded product gifts from 1664. Charmaine also invited guests to re-invent Chef Ming’s buckwheat crepe recipe and create their crepe with a twist at stations set up within the venue. Everyone had a fun-packed session including face-off competition between Caroline Moreau and Fang Qing Yao, and Charmaine and Chermaine.

  • Brokers’ Night: Power of Partnership

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the Brokers’ Night Dinner to celebrate top brokers’ achievements and continued partnership with Income Insurance Limited as they embark on a new journey as a new entity. Some of the major partners were presented with tokens of appreciation for their unrivaled support. The tokens were a limited edition of HOXXOH Grand Cru with hints of the prestigious 1907 vintage, Jönköping champagne. An interesting fact is that these bottles were ordered by Tsar Nicholas II during the First World War, they spent 82 years at the bottom of the Baltic Sea. In appreciation of the brokers’ attendance, they each went home with a very special gift, a Bluetooth speaker that came with a specially curated playlist that celebrates the power of partnership.

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine had fun engaging English multi-platinum selling singer songwriter Calum Scott while he was in Singapore for his performance at Capitol Theatre as part of his Asian tour. Calum’s “BRIDGES” Asia Tour included debut shows in Tokyo and Bangkok along with a return to Singapore, where he previously performed as part of his “Only Human” Tour in 2018. When emcee Singapore Charmaine asked Calum a series of quick-fire questions, she learned that he enjoys witty conversation over a seafood meal cooked Italian style. Following the release of his latest single, “Heaven” Scott embarked on his Asian tour with his band to play both his old songs and new songs from his second album.   • Channel News Asia Documentary: Egg Freezing Journey

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine was featured on her egg freezing journey on Channel News Asia documentary “The Race For Babies: Our Fertility Issues – The Baby Makers Part 1”. Charmaine was allowed to freeze her eggs on medical grounds to preserve her fertility before the move of legalising Social Egg Freezing for women in 2023. This new law will allow single women aged 21 to 35 to freeze their eggs. This is an effort by the government to overcome the population dilemma and help to improve the situation of falling birth rate and declining fertility. She managed to successfully appeal on her case when news of the impending new law broke and immediately cancelled her original plans to go to Kuala Lumpur for the egg freezing procedure. Charmaine is happy to be part of the conversation on fertility option efforts to make it easier for women to have children.   • SG Mental Well Being: Reflections Of 99 Singaporeans

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine was featured on SG Mental Well Being Network social media coverage of ‘Reflections of 99 Singaporeans’, including Alvin Tan, Minister of State for Culture, Community and Youth and Trade and Industry and Sun Xueling, Minister of State for Social and Family Development and Home Affairs, as well as Member of Parliament Tin Pei Ling. Charmaine advocated that we may feel good today and not great tomorrow and that’s ok. “To me, it is a journey, and we shouldn’t be so hard on ourselves.” 99 Singaporeans sat down with the SG Mental Well-being Network and reflected on their darkest moments. Some defined it in their younger days, while others went through it as they grew older. Everyone has a story, he/she could be going through some challenges which we are not aware of and is overcoming the difficult period with the support of their friends, families and loved ones. “Treat yourself as you would treat your own best friend. Users can choose to share their Fitbit data through the LifeHub+ app, and receive dynamic health scores, data alerts and metrics which gives them simple, clear insights into their health for tracking and daily improvement. LifeHub+ is digitally anchoring Singaporeans to a family doctor, general practitioner (GP), and health coaches to manage or delay onset of chronic health conditions via a dedicated secure LifeHub+ dashboard.g LifeHub+ can also be programmed to nudge users to improve their health, eg. to reduce sedentary time throughout the day, and can be used to toggle reminders on medication, exercise, or scheduling medical check-ups. Alexandra Hospital (AH) is the first hospital to onboard the new service and it is helping to connect the GPs in the western region to this.     Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted ‘Music Is Universal 2022’ featuring an eclectic lineup spanning a compelling mix of genres from rock to dream pop of music artists Yungblud, Hayd, Zack Tabudlo, Violette Wautier and Lullaboy. Off the back of the successful inaugural edition in 2019, record label Universal Music Singapore returned with the second iteration of Music is Universal, featuring an equally galvanizing line-up. The invite-only evening had the spotlight on a stellar representation from across the globe and SE Asia at the Capitol Theatre. Headlined by Gen-Z’s rock n’roll poster child from Doncaster who has earned co-signs from rock legends such as Mick Jagger and Ozzy Osbourne, Yungblud captivated the audience with his larger-than-life personality. He was joined by Michigan-born Hayd , whose lush piano-based pop and mellow sound, has garnered him close to 770M career streams.   • Opening of Castlery Orchard

    Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted the grand opening of Castlery’s sprawling 24,000 sq ft flagship studio spanning two levels and displaying more than 500 sets of furniture. It is the only local furniture chain that has an Orchard Road frontage, along with other popular and global brands. Mr Declan Ee (President & Co-Founder), Mr Fred Ji (CEO & Co-Founder) and Mr Travers Tan (Co-Founder) started out as a small team in 2013 as a digital furniture store targeted at young Singapore urban millennials. Castlery has now grown beyond Singapore. The company successfully leveraged upon its strong start here and expanded its innovative and strategic business model to overseas markets where the Singapore brand is trusted and appreciated.     Emcee Singapore: Charmaine had fun engaging Pink Sweat$ to render an on-the-spot vocal melody using local-flavoured lyrics. Best known for his hit single “At My Worst”, the U.S. R&B and soul artist Pink Sweat$ was on a Pink Moon tour to Singapore and the region. When Charmaine asked Pink Sweat$ how he would blend local phrases using must-know Singlish words “chiobu”, “steady” and “paktoh” in a song, the talented artist spontaneously improvised a love song in seconds. He sang a catchy “Hello chiobu can we go steady? Maybe we can even paktor together!” to the beat of a tambourine and shakers. Since his rise to fame, the singer has collaborated with acts like Alec Benjamin, Honne, Kehlani and members of K-pop boyband SEVENTEEN.     Emcee Singapore: Charmaine hosted a virtual golf experience with Mastercard golf ambassador, Tom Watson, to enhance Citi Prestige and Mastercard members’ golf performance with tips and tricks from the golfing legend. In the Priceless experience, emcee Singapore Charmaine engaged Tom to share insights on his achievements and on overcoming setbacks, as well as ways to unlock and enhance the audience’s golf performance in putting, swings, and more. With an incredible 39 wins on the PGA TOUR, including 8 major championships with an aggressive, fast-paced style, Tom was named PGA TOUR Player of the Year six times and the leading money winner five times. Not only has he won 14 times on the over-50 Champions Tour, but he also won 6 PGA TOUR Champions major tournaments. After sharing his inspirational experiences and knowledge, the audience posed burning questions in an exclusive Q&A segment.
